Please be sure to bring ALL of the following forms with you to band camp (preferably on the Tuesday that your student has rehearsal according to the summer schedule in the 2024 band paperwork document below.) in order to participate. Students MUST have their physical forms and other necessary paperwork turned into Mr. Crane.

Lunch/Dinner
Make sure you eat breakfast before camp! Lunch is NOT PROVIDED! Clothing - Wear a short sleeved shirt and light shorts. NO JEANS!!! NO jean shorts either. Please do not wear shirts that will be see through if rained on. ALL SHORTS AND SHIRTS MUST BE SCHOOL DRESS CODE OR YOU WILL BE SENT HOME OR ASKED TO CHANGE (BOYS AND GIRLS) You need a Hat and Sun Screen of spf 15 - 30, because it will be very sunny. TIGHT LACED SNEAKERS are also a must. NO sandals, flip-flops, crocs, loose laced shoes, etc. 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon water cooler. Health - Marching band is a very strenuous activity. Marching shows are around eight minutes long. This means we will condition you to be able to run for eight minutes straight. Every marcher must be able to do this; woodwind, brass, drumline and guard. Start conditioning now. Try to walk, jog or run everyday. Parents Night- Will take place on Friday 8/29/2022 starting at 6pm. There will be a short meeting with all parents lead by the band booster president followed by a performance of what the students learned during band camp. |
